Circa 1870-1900 in my opinion (or maybe slightly earlier). A really fine speculative bow. The lines on the left side of the head are not cracks ,just scratches probably caused by a case bow holder ,they are barely visible in real life.

Antique full-size 4/4 cello with an old interior label for Raffaele & Antonio Gagliano, Naples, Italy, 1812. Comes with an insurance appraisal, but no maker certificate is included. Please review all photos and appraisal paperwork carefully. Notes indicate no sound post crack and no bass bar crack. There is some old varnish retouch and normal age-related wear from use. Currently fitted with Larsen Soloist A and D strings, with tungsten-wound G and C strings over a spiral core. Includes hard case. It has a beautifully flamed two piece back ribs, neck and scroll. The varnish is orange/amber in colour and completely original. Rare estate find!! Early 1970 Peter prier 4/4 cello model #142 comes with 2 bows needs new hair in both. It has a few condition issues. Needs new strings,has a crack in body (as seen in photos) the center peg inside needs to be put back. amongst the bridge and that. It has some chips and dings as seen in photos. But overall good to very good. With a lot of potential. It doesn’t have case. But I’ll buy at least a soft case to ship it in. Don’t miss this rare opportunity. Thanks for looking!!
