Heinz Dölling German violin bow, likely mid-20th century, made in the Markneukirchen tradition. Octagonal pernambuco stick with nickel-mounted frog and abalone slide. The bow is straight with a good camber and a clean, well-shaped head. No visible cracks or structural issues. Original frog, button, and fittings appear intact and function properly. Missing eye on one side (see photos). Weight is approximately 62g (pictured). Recently inspected and in good condition, though it would benefit from a rehair for optimal performance. A solid, well-balanced player’s bow suitable for advancing students or intermediate players.

Hello! I hope you are doing great today! I’m a professional violinist selling some of my bows. This one is excellent for the price. It is at a very comfortable yet strong weight (61.5 grams). The wood does produce a nice warm sound with overtones, and it feels perfectly balanced. For what it goes for, I do consider it very cheap. It does play like many $1500-$2000 bows. You can return it if you don’t like it. It’s got fresh hair, and it is stamped “Germany” on the stick on the lower side. Everything is in good condition per the inspection of an expert. No big repairs or cracks! Thank you!
