4 1/2” Quality steel. Pretty heavy. I don’t have a proper scale to weigh it. Must be at least 1/2 lb. Love the sound these make. 3 on each arm is to much for me. With only 2 I can hurt myself plenty, in a good way. Be aware that getting creative with moves can lead to unsuspected small injuries. I pinched two of the veins in my arm, small blood blisters. Also pinched my pectoral a bit doing a Wing Chun Kwan Sao, or Kwan Kuen. Circling hands inward close by chest move. Buy with confidence.
