Vintage Leupold Sportsman compass with hinged metal case. Marked LEUPOLD SPORTSMAN on the exterior. This example is from a rare error run and features a reversed dial orientation, with North and South marked opposite of standard compasses. Degree markings and cardinal directions are clearly visible on the dial. Green textured metal housing with hinged cover. ⸻ Condition Used. General age-related wear present including surface wear and finish wear to the case. Dial markings remain legible. Hinged cover opens and closes properly. No cracks observed. This example is from a rare error run and features a reversed dial orientation, with North and South marked opposite of standard compasses.
