A lovely wood engraving in a mount entitled "In Depedale" - a Derbyshire scene. Still in the original protective cellophane wrapper from when it was sold some years ago. Dated c1880. Mounted size 25.5 x 23.5cm, image size 16.5 x 14cm. Very light tanning given the age of the item. Please see photos for more information.

Teils papierbedingt fleckig getönt, nur wenig in der Abbildung störend, siehe Fotos, kleine nicht störende Schäden an der Blattkante, siehe Fotos. Dieses Rheinpanorama bei tiefstehender Sonne fängt die Silhouette der Stadt mit ihren charakteristischen Türmen und zahlreichen Segelschiffen ein. Die Ansicht spiegelt die romantische Verklärung der Rheinlandschaft sowie die wirtschaftliche Bedeutung der Binnenschifffahrt wider.
