These beautiful and now rare to find Half Moon Earrings are in as found condition - I did not polish or alter them in any way. I am told they are a traditional engagement gift. Purchased at different times from Individual Maya women vendors. Unmatched pair sold as custom pair. I love that someone wanted two different earrings OR just made do with different ones. Either way they work beautifully as a set and are in fact my favorite pair. Purchased in the late 80's or early 90's I just found where I'd stored 5 pair of these. All will be listed today. It is finished in a beautiful shiny gloss glazing I do not know exactly where it was made. Looks similar to Guatemalan , Mexican or African folk art. Very nice condition. This is my favorite Zunil Cinta ever. It is so expertly woven and appears to be woven completely of cotton (entirely tapestry woven - designs from end to end) and the fringe is amazing... tiny little pom poms throughout. I don't even know how they did it. Definitely a collectors piece. Purchased in Guatemala in the late 80's or early 90's (I went twice a year during that period) as a special "antique" piece. If you want more photos please let me know. They are the main description! Piece is just over 120" long including fringe and is about 1 1/4" wide.
