This piece was done by one of the apprentices in the workshop. It is a man holding two mermaid.babies, on one side is a mermaid with a baby and the other side is a pregnant mermaid.... It measures about 12 inches, tall and about 13 inches wide. and it is very heavy. It's a very whimsical piece. Presumably it was some skulls, but they are now missing. It also appears to missing one of the flowers on top. It looks like it could use a cleaning, but I don’t want to risk damaging the paint, so I won’t attempt it. Sold as-is.

This is a vintage Mexican Folk Art Anthropomorphic taxidermy turtle playing a small accordion made of wood. This item was produced in Mexico and sold as a souvenir or a collectible curiosity. It was purchased sometime in the 1970s. It also came with two taxidermy frogs that are playing other instruments. However the two frogs fell apart but the turtle stayed intact. If you are interested in the ( broken) frogs, I can ship them and all the pieces that I could find of them, along with the turtle. Just message me and let me know if you want the frogs too. Also the turtle seems to be missing a few toenails but is otherwise in good condition. The turtle measures 8 inches tall and is 4 inches wide.
