Set of 2 scrapbooks from Chicago World's Fair. One is from 1933, the other is 1934. The red cover scrapbook is numbered to 115 pages, but missing back cover. The multi-color cover scrapbook is not numbered and has a section of blank pages (see picture).

Century of Progress Exhibition 1933-34 140 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 postcards

The fair buildings were multi-colored, to create a "Rainbow City" as compared to the "White City" of Chicago's earlier 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. The architectural commission and fair designers included Paul Cret, Raymond Hood, Edward Bennett, John Holabird, Hubert Burnham, Edgar Miller, and Andrew Rebori.
