US Infantry Script I 15th Regiment Pewter Coat Button - War of 1812 - #GI34R15
No chipping or pewter loss, Shank is attached, but bent flat. A little dark but has very nice details. This is a very nice an example of a dug pewter button. 20mm in size. Is #GI34R15 in Alberts book.

The Austrian Grenadier Bearskin Mitre Cap Plate is a reproduction piece designed to be sewn onto the front of a tall fur/bearskin mitre cap used by Austrian elite infantry units. The stamped copper/brass plate features a shield displaying the crowned " F I" cypher (Emperor Ferdinand I of Austria) superimposed over the Habsburg imperial double-headed eagle.

Appears unmarked. The leather grip is 97% complete. The double strands of twisted wire look complete. The blade has been sharpened (sharp), a few nicks, has age spots scattered throughout, and there is a slight curve to the last 4" by the tip (doesn't affect the scabbard on/off).

This is an original US model 1816 Musket stock which is correct for most model 1816 muskets. Because all of the parts were hand fitted, there may be some variation in the fitment of the hardware to the stock. This stock has a crack which is shown in photo 6 and is missing the final 6" at the muzzle end. Has the original butt plate still installed and has correct original inspector marks. I included a bunch of photos so you could get a real good look to see what you are going to receive. These model 1816 stocks used to be easy to find but now most are gone. Shipping will be oversized so shipping costs will be significant. You will receive exactly the item you see in the photos.
