For sale is one extra large size dug Eagle button. This is the largest plain faced Eagle button I have encountered. The button has an odd Supreme Quality backmark. I have talked with a well respected button authority about this piece. He seems to think it’s a post war item that was given away as a souvenir at various parks and was attached to a piece of cardboard. I am leaning to this being a post war item due to a professional opinion, late backmark, and size. A odd collectable piece. See pictures for details. Please check out my other listings.

For sale is one dug Civil War large size Eagle “I” Infantry button. This button is a good example with a stand out Eagle and I in the shield. The piece has trace amounts of gold that really gives the button a great look. The reverse has a stand up shank and a crisp Waterbury Scovill backmark.
