It is constructed of Khaki colored cotton material with two flapped breast pockets, two large hip pockets, and a five brass button front closure. All buttons are the Indian War 3-piece General Staff type with the five front buttons back marked ‘GOODWIN’S PAT.

USS Battleship Oregon Salvaged Teak Gavel w/ Plaque 1940s RARE

Wtih only a few minor dings to one of the gavel faces this is a piece of history in really excellent shape. Teak from the salvaged Battleship Oregon. After its storied career in the Spanish American War it later was utilized for parts assistance in the WW2 efforts and then ultimately sold for scrap in 1942. General Hardwood Company of Tacoma then embarked on creating some items from that antique wood, this gavel is one of those pieces.. . . . Krag Jorgensen Bayonet Knife Spanish American War - U.S. Model 1892

Up for auction is a fair to poor condition bayonet for the Krag Jorgensen rifle that the US Army adopted in 1892. The knife bayonet has a relatively faint "US" marking on the right side and what appears to be 1894 on the left. There is no active rust but there is heavy patina and some old pitting.

The hand guard is for the 1898 or 1902 rear sights. The wood is walnut. The hand guard is marked 99 on the underside. The hand guard has dents and scratches. Remove the rear sight. Place the hand guard at the muzzle end of the barrel and slide the hand guard up the barrel into place.
