For sale is an original 1939 1st Prize shooting (Preisrichten) medal awarded to a member of the 10th (E) Artillery Regiment 10 (10.(E) A.R. 10). Obverse: Detailed relief scene of two steel-helmeted artillery soldiers operating a field gun with large spoked wheel and gun shield. Reverse: Inscribed “I. Preis i. Preisrichten 10.(E) A.R. 10 Regensburg 6.2.–6.5.39” surrounded by a laurel wreath. Original ribbon with black-white-red colors is attached. This unit-level marksmanship award was presented during a competition in Regensburg, Bavaria, in early 1939. Good condition. Please see photos for exact condition.
