1974 De Tomaso Pantera 351ci Cleveland V8 ZF 5-Spd Transaxle Tasteful Upgrades /// Born from Alejandro De Tomaso's partnership with Ford Motor Company, this 1974 Pantera blends dramatic Italian styling with proven American V8 performance. Designed by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia and assembled in Modena, Italy, the Pantera emerged as one of the era's most distinctive mid-engine exotics, combining wedge-shaped bodywork and exotic proportions with the durability and serviceability of Ford power. Finished in white over black, this example appears to have been restored and maintained as needed throughout its life while preserving the raw analog character that helped define the model.
1974 DETOMASO PANTERA COUPE
This Pantera is 1 of only 69 finished in factory Blue for the Philadelphia DSO-now beautifully reimagined in Ford Grabber Blue with matte-finish front and rear decklids. The bare-metal repaint was performed using PPG epoxy primer| surfacer| topcoat| and DC3000 clear| all applied in a hot booth by a five-person team over 40 labor hours. The result is a show-quality finish with period-correct flair. Under the rear clamshell lies a blueprinted and fully rebuilt 351ci Cleveland V8| paired to a ZF 5-speed manual transmission with fresh synchros and a custom McLeod 3-leaf clutch and flywheel-a one-off assembly with a six-month lead time.

1971 DeTomaso Pantera
1971 DeTomaso Pantera. This is one of the earliest, hand build Panteras, know as a "pushbutton" car. This unit requires a full restoration but despite the ugly rust on the front and rear hood is extremely solid. This unit was a Nevada/California car that unfortunately sat under a cover for an extended period of time causing rust on the far edges of both hoods but not the underside. I have a rear hood that I am including with this sale. This unit was deliver in verde acqua (pictured) and will be absolutely stunning when restored.
