Vintage Evinrude Johnson gas tank Cruise A Day 6 Gallon fuel tank OMC

Season is here and once again we are restoring fuel tanks. What you are looking at is a six Gallon Evinrude single line fuel tank. Tank has been completely torn down glass blasted pressure tested and powder coated in a deep durable red powder. Tank has its share of dings (see photos) nothing that affects it but must be noted. Tank will come with a nice clear glass fuel gauge. Tank will have a small amount of fogging oil inside for corrosion purposes. We also have dual line pressure tanks in both 4 and 6 gallon if someone is in the market for one just let me know and we can list it. Again, these tanks are 60+ years old and are getting harder and harder to find so don't miss out on this one.

FSM Housing assembly is fully operational. The part number for the cover itself is 880596t53 which supersedes to part # 88059623. I think it is the latter newer part number since it dosent have the drain plug which I think was the older design and original part number but dont know that for sure.
