4/4 VINTAGE BRASS VIOLIN TUNING PEGS MACHINES MACHINE HEADS RARE!
This is a set of rare, high-quality, vintage, geared tuning machine pegs for a 4/4 (full size) violin. These appear to have been made in Europe sometime in the last 200 years, featuring buttons made of genuine bone. These are in great shape wit a beautiful patina, function perfectly and could use a tiny bit of grease or tri-flow oil on the gears upon use. Geared tuners popular on fiddles in the late 19th century and fizzled out around the 1930’s. They were produced mostly in Germany and were an aftermarket upgrade. I'm asking $200 or best offer. Enjoy!

It looks like each one can be unscrewed and separated to replace the center section (the composite fiber washer piece.).
