Meiji Japanese Koro Bonze of Perched Bird
Beautiful antique bronze Japanese Koro Censer / incense burner in the shape of a perched eagle. I believe made in the Meiji period or earlier. This is a very high quolity bronze with some exceptional detail. The Koro would have been made using the loss wax technique where the sculpture is first made from wax, a mould cast around the wax and then the wax replaced with molten bronze. There is some historic damage to the edge of the base, a small chip that can bee seen on the photos. Weight: 700g

This charming vintage wood bowl on a lazy susan base with a hand painted equestrian horse farm scene. Manufactured by G.H. Specialty Co., in Milwaukee Wisconsin, mid 20th century. It is slightly out of round measuring 10.5” x 11” and is 3.5” high. What a lovely piece for any farmhouse, primitive or country decor. Perfect gift for any horse lover. Condition: Some wear to wood finish, small tight cracks- painted areas are in very good condition. I have applied beeswax to bring out the beautiful wood color. Please view all photos as they best represent condition and details. Postage is calculated based on box dimensions, weight, and shipping distance.
