Old Original Antique Victorian Print World War 1919 American Ship River Clyde Gallipoli A page and reverse from The War Illustrated a pictorial record of the conflict of nations. The War Illustrated was one of the most successful British war magazines published during the 1914-1919 conflict. Edited by J. A. Hammerton, it was a newly created title upon outbreak of war. These historical images are captured in drawing and photographs and would have been taken as history was made.
