I am helping to clean out my parents house and am listing a lot of great vintage items at very reasonable prices. Feel free to check my other listings; I gladly welcome bundle deals. I really dont know much about this, but from the brief research I did, I believe this is artillery lighter from either World War 1 or 2 (ebay forced me to pick, so I just went with another listing that said WW1.) It is approximately 4 inches long x 1 inch wide, and weighs just under 7 oz. I have not tested this with lighter fluid as I dont know how that will impact the condition, so im just playing it safe and selling it as you see it. The last of the ramrod bayonets, the Model 1903 "rod bayonet" was used on the early production Springfield Model 1903 bolt action rifle chambered in. 30-03 caliber between 1903 and 1905. This unusual piece was replaced with the Model 1905 bayonet blade that we all know coming out in 1906.
