A nice display helmet to fill your collection at a fraction of the cost of an original. This Model 1889 helmet has been updated by moving the cockades to the correct position. The chin scales were reworked to look more like originals. The liner was also reworked and attached more securely. There is oxidation and signs of use/wear but that adds to the look of authenticity. None of the other helmets offered by other sellers come close to the configuration or quality of this helmet. This helmet displays much closer to an actual Model 1889 Helmet.
