Reverse bears the IWM copyright stamp with the Lambeth Road address and negative reference Q 21973. Typewritten annotation reads "T.B.no. 1 (LIGHTNING)" with LIGHTNING struck through, corrected in blue ink to "ex Cricket" — an accurate notation that HMS Cricket was reclassified as a 1st-class torpedo boat and renumbered TB 1 in 1906.
