WWI 1919 Australian Henley & Grange Soldier's Memorial Carnival CPT Butler Pin

The individual pictured on the pin is Captain Harry Butler (1889-1924), a decorated South Australian aviator and WWI pilot. He landed his Avro biplane at Henley Beach for the event. Funds raised from this and a subsequent 1921 carnival were used to build the Henley Town Hall.

A very hard to find WWI Australian Lithgow P1907 bayonet with a 1944 Mangrovite Scabbard. Designed for the Enfield No1 Mk1, this would make a wonderful addition to your collection. The 16 6/8" blade shows heavy signs of oxidation of which I made no attempt to clean.
