ORIGINAL WWI US M1905 16” BAYONET, 1919 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY & WWII M3 SCABBARD

Original Post-WWI 16 inch blade 1919 dated US M1905 Bayonet marked S.A. 1919 and US 1115538. Manufactured by Springfield Armory just post WWI. Comes with an original WWII US M3 scabbard. Bayonet is in very good used condition. The parkerized finish on the blade is thinning on high spots and at the tip. The wooden grips are worn but solid with no cracks. The original WWII M3 scabbard is in very good used condition. It is marked USN MK1 on the front of the throat and B 3/1 N for Beckwith Manufacturing on the underside of the throat. This is a very good looking BRIGHT blade bayonet with a grayish hue. It has a very good original factory blade edge that is semi- sharp with a little edge wear in a few spots, and a semi- pointed tip.
