Date: 1918 (Fourth Liberty Loan campaign). TheFourth Liberty Loan was launched between September 28 and October 19, 1918, during the decisive Allied offensives on the Western Front. Good overall condition.

WWI British Army Recruiting Poster “Lend Your Strong Right Arm To Your Country- Enlist Now”. Came from a local estate. “Published By The Parliamentary Recruiting Committee, London, Poster No. 26. H. & C. Graham Ltd, London S.E.” Great image of a clenched fist. Paper mounted to linen. Has some string attached to hang it but that may not be original. Has a small chunk out of the bottom edge under the word “now”. Has some wear at the left edge. Has a vertical fold in the center which may be original. Measures 10 X 24 3/4” at the widest points. Overall pretty good shape. Comes as seen in photos free shipping. M-7

Vintage 1933 Hand Tinted Book Plate - Some of the Medals won in The Great War (WW1). This Bookplate is from the 1933 Book, "Newnes' Pictorial Knowledge Volume 7, and Educational Treasury and Children's Dictionary" of who one of the Associated Editors was the famous Children's Author, Enid Blyton. Printed by White friars Press Ltd, London and Tonbridge. The images were "specially painted for this work" (as written just below the image of the medals). It is in very good condition with just minor light marks on the white border. The medal images themselves and the written index below is clear and bright and in good condition. It measures 26 X 19cm. Perfect for framing for a war history buff.

Joseph Pennell Sinews of War Battleship Coaling In Newcastle Framed Print 40x50c
Joseph Pennell liberty bond print for war bonds. Framed size 52 x72 Cms This is a very fragile and ancient print on card. That was disintegrating so it’s backed onto an art grade paper using mounting glue. In close up the fragility can be seen but the overall effect is fantastic capturing the vigour of the black crayon used by Pennell. It’s 110 years old but a great visual statement used and reproduced for Liberty bond raising.
