Condition: Wear on leather scabbard. Split seam on scabbard approx 4" (close up provided - 13th pic). No pitting noted on blade. The Long Common Socket Bayonet, or "Lunger", was designed for use with the Martini Henry rifle in 1876, and used during the Anglo-Zulu War up through WWI.

Good condition showing age patina, wear, use, bright blade with tip being a little more rounded, blade may have been modified. Made by Wilkinson with oiler hole, the scabbard leather shows some surface roughness wear. Excellent working press-stud. See photos.
