This is a World War I-World War II German Police Sword. I bought this Sword with a broken tip. Modified it to a D-Guard Bowie Knife, and Custom-Made the Buckskin Leather Sheath. Using a World War II Swedish Bayonet Frog, and genuine Buck skin Leather.

Excellent condition, Brazilian markings on the top of blade spine, cross-guard, and scabbard finial. Incredible vintage artifact from World War I. A German Imperial flag/pennant measuring 8.5" wide. Flag has staining throughout, as pictured. In this case, I think it actually really adds to the piece and is age appropriate. Please also note the three pin holes, one in each corner. Thank you!

Original Imperial German Lions Head Officer's Saber Alcoso Made

Sword is marked with Alcoso's Scales and A C trademark. Sword is pre-1909 as it has a nickel-plated scabbard. Lion retains both ruby eyes and a very nice, gold-plated handle.

It is dated ‘1870’on the lower arm. Awarded during the 1870 – 1871 Franco Prussian War for gallantry in combat action. The front of the maltese cross shows King’s crown on the upper arm with a ‘W’ in the center.
